Perfect World

A perfect world I know it don't exist
But of the places I've been it's the one I have missed
And it sure would have helped with the life I've lived
And all the expectations
Oh, I'd like to think everything is fine
Maybe play along just to ease my mind
But it's so much work and I fall behind in
All of my relations

And even though I'm headed for disaster

I'll keep one eye
I'll keep one eye on a perfect world

Fear and hate and jealousy
Eighty-six them all and that's find to believe
But in practice it's so hard to see around
All the complications
Courage is as courage does
What am I doing here, what is wrong with love?
I'm at the brink and I need a shove
Not negotiations
